New JD versus Used Kubota

I am preparing to buy my first tractor to use on my 5 acre (flat) farm. I am not very mechanical so do not want a project requiring work. A 20 HP compact tractor seems like what I need. I am looking at a 10 year old Kubota L245DT 25 HP drive with 560 hours in good condition for $11,900 and a new JD 4100 20hp for 13,750. Both are 4 wheel drive with mechanical transmission and come with loaders. Which of these seems like a better value? What else should I be considering? Both of these are being sold by local dealers. Do tractor dealers negociate on price or should I expect to pay "sticker price"? Thanks for any help that you can provide.
