I feel kinda awkward asking about parts now after the messages posted earlier but I'll go ahead anyway. You guys are fine gentlemen and I trust your suggestions. Now, speaking of the old iron that I love, I just bought a new piece a few weeks back here in S. Ohio. It's a Deering grain binder (6 ft.) made somewhere between 1920-1926. I got it from a farm owned by the same people who own the "Counterfit House." Don't know if any of you have ever heard of it or not. They did a documentary on it on the History Channel I think. They used to make counterfit money there back in years gone by. Real big operation at the time. Anyway, I've got the binder and I'm curious as to whether anyone knows of a place where I might find parts for something like this. I've been talkin with the folks up at the Wisconsin Historical Society (they've got the IHC and Deering company archives) and they've been real helpful in getting me photcopies of manuals and things but they don't sell parts there. If anybody knows about the existence of parts for her I'd be truly thankful for the help. I can't wait to get her up and going and test her out in the wheat field next year. Thanks again. God bless.

It is also very apparent that these folks are getting a lot of very poor and often very dangerous advice fro
