Well I own a 95 GMC 2500HD and a 93 Dodge 250 with a modified Cummins. If you stay within the towing specs the GMC is fine(10K or less) If you run up to 13 or 14K towing the Cummins is better. The Dodge rides and drives much worse than the GMC. With the type of tractors you want to haul most any of the diesels will work. As for the Duramax in the GM trucks, I would very much like to get accurate information as to their problems.
