Been great weather since Thursday or maybe wed. I was thinking the same thing here is a solid 3 + window to get a first cut in. The orchard grass was 5'-6' tall in the field next to my house, nice lush green hay grasses, headed out, the pollen and whatever it is that falls off, coated my tractor. I was just mowing with a 6' rotary cutter, had to run in 3rd gear, very thick and water laden with all the rains. This is excellent drying weather, minimal dew at night. Best I'll do with some of it is mulch for the garden. Cool to hear about your haying and beating the weather !
