My two cents, Even the stylized, Madison Avenue toys are better than nothing... And are probably better than the violent, shoot'em up toys that I see in other houses. I grew up on a farm in the 60's, luckily still have my toy collection, but my kids have both Ertls and stylized toys, they love and play with them both. I use them to teach the kids about farm life. They really identify with the machines when we visit our farm in South Dakota and ride the machinery with my cousin... It's more about what you take the time to teach the kids, rather then having exacting replicas... Though I love the exacting replicas for my own collection! Doc

Earthmaster Project Progress Just a little update on my Earthmaster......it's back from the dead! I pulled the head, and soaked the stuck valves with mystery oil overnight, re-installed the head, and bingo, the compression returned. But alas, my carb foiled me again, it would fire a second then flood out.
