I got my replacement well vent jet in the mail, and I got home from vacation today so I checked it out.
I first used a 12-32 tap to chase the threads in the carb body and make sure they were not damaged from removing the old well vent jet. The well vent jet fit very nicely in the carb and the threads were very smooth.
My question is, how tight should I make the well vent jet in the carb body? Its a small brass jet so I am afraid to strip it by over tightening or get it stuck, but I do not want it to come out.
