I'm replacing all hoses on my loader tractor, run into problems with the swivel fittings. Here's my approach:
Screw fixed end of the hose into the tractor fitting. Tighten.
Screw new swivel fitting onto other end of hose, tighten.
Just did this and found swivel would no longer turn. Had to back off the fitting a bit from the hose, didn't like that. Then was able to attach other end of the hose to tractor fitting. All ok.
Any better techniques out there from people who actually know what they're doing?
BTW everything is tight with no leaks, just want to speed up the whole process a bit.
