I think your M6060 has the same fuel system as the M6800 which I have. If that's the case, you really have two fuel tanks connected with a crossover tube. When you fill the "tank" you're actually filling the left tank and it then runs over to the right tank through the tube. Each tank is vented. I guess it could be a vent problem. Or,a plugged crosstube. The fuel gauge only gives the level in the one tank it's in. That's why you'll get a different reading on sidehills depending on which way you're headed after the fuel is down enough to show on the gauge. One way to check if the crosstube is OK is to operate it both ways on a side hill and see if you have a different reading in each direction. If you do, you'll know that the crosstube is open.
