I doubt that there is a "happy place" in a modern retail store. If it is like one place I worked at the employees depending on what is going on are instructed to ignore the customer to perform other tasks. Further, I would bet that the employee would rather deal with the customer than do a pointless task that was created by a person at a regional office to justify their paycheck.
