We have a high dump wagon for sale online locally. I have it priced at a certain price and a guy phoned up wanting to look at it Saturday. He knew before he came what the asking price is. He said his broke on Friday and he needs one ASAP. He looked it over and was happy with it. He asked me what’s my best price,I said you know the asking price what are you thinking? He offered me 3000 less than the asking price,I said I can’t do that the absolute best I’m willing to do is 1500 less and no lower because it’s a really good dump,I replaced 2 tires and the other 2 are good ,I sandblasted primed and spray painted it 2 years ago and put new decals on it after I put a new liner in the front half of the floor. We’ve paid near full asking price for most things we’ve bought over the years if it was something we needed and in really good shape. We sold a lot of items this summer at a fair bit less than we paid for them and the asking price for this particular dump in fully restored condition falls well in line with any of the same models in non repainted condition on Tractor House so I’m sticking to my price. He has it in his head well take 2000 less and not 1500 less and said he’d write me a check on the spot (how do I know it’s good?) I said I’m sorry it’s a good dump looks almost like brand new and my price is fair. Anyhow he messaged me tonight and said I have until Thursday night to accept his offer and I might as well sell it to him vs paying to keep it in storage. He’s ticking me off,I said I’m sorry I’m sticking to my price. I asked one of his neighbours that I know what he’s like and he said he’s a bit dangerous whatever that means he didn’t elaborate. I do know his father let his herd of dairy cattle starve to death and freeze in their own manure 15 years ago and he avoided charges by claiming mental health issues (possibly true, why else would you let that happen?). He turned the farm over to this guy ,his son who seems a bit sketchy himself. Any advice other than stick to my guns and don’t engage in bully tactics? I have the right to hold my line,I’ve lowered my price if he doesn’t like it he doesn’t have to buy it.

Today's Featured Article - Hydraulics - Cylinder Anatomy - by Curtis von Fange. Let’s make one more addition to our series on hydraulics. I’ve noticed a few questions in the comment section that could pertain to hydraulic cylinders so I thought we could take a short look at this real workhorse of the circuit. Cylinders are the reason for the hydraulic circuit. They take the fluid power delivered from the pump and magically change it into mechanical power. There are many types of cylinders that one might run across on a farm scenario. Each one could take a chapter in
