I used to sell a lot of used crap when I was doing small engine work. I generally set a price, take it or leave it. I don't like dickering and didn't have the time for it back then when I had a yard full of repairs to work on. "Will you hold it until I get there"? I'll hold it until the first guy walks in the door with the cash to buy it. Got left at the alter too many times holding something "until I can get there".
