Looks like equal weight on either side...!! I am an A&P Mechanic, and was taught that the TEL had the purpose of high-temp lubrication of the valves--especially on soft seats... I agree that plug fouling is a problem with heavy use of TEL...I try to only use enough to get the benefits... A very little will help the most--proportionally... I do also use a small amount of Marvel Mystery oil, as a top cylinder lubricant... When rebuilding a freshly bored engine..I coat the new bores w/ Dupont Teflon, and heat the block, to set the teflon into the metal... Never seen anything resist wear like this....!! Rings seat fine... Just trying to be helpful, not trying to argue..!! Thanks for any ideas....!!!!! Ron.
