Hey Guys, slow down! Have You ever thought about, why there is no american mnufacturer who bulit the smaller tractors? Cause of the asians kill the market with cheap equipment. If a foreign company want's to import to Japan or Korea or or or, they have to pay alot of import-taxe. When there are so lot of, even bigger asians, why not in Germany? Also german Farmers and Landscapers need cheap Equipment, why do the asians have no sucsess here? Cause they even expensiv like european ones. I believe that 28ooo DM (14ooo Euro, even 14000$) Is a lot money for an used Iseki. Therefor I can also buy a 2Year old Schanzlin, Dexheimer or one of the other compacts. Parts cheap? You must be Joking! A drive belt for a 8 hp walk-behind costs 64DM(32$). For that money I have to work more than 1 1/2 h. I can not buy this in a normal shop, I have to go to the Iseki-dealer. have You ever taken a look at the older Japanes Motor-bikes and cars? The first had all been copies of sucsessfull ones. On every great exhibition, You'll see the asian with cameras taking photos, cause they are masters in copying. only my impression Bernhard, Derichsweiler, Germany PS: Some here told me, that I have no experience with asian tractors, sure, but i talked with a lot of landscapers, greenkeepers and others, the most told me, that the japanese have not the performance which they had to have by there engine power.
