I cannot say for sure about any other Tractor Supply Store except the two I am familiar with. The one in the city where I live is in a former grocery store, is clean, well stocked, well lit, generally has what items they advertise, has employees who are helpful, and usually know what they are about. The "primary" sort fo customer tends to be "suburbanites" rather than "farmers". They can get some useful aftermarket "tractor" parts, but are really a good source of agricultural parts in the form of Hydraulic hoses and couplers,batteries, plowshares, rake teeth, mower sickle sections, and a selection of livestock feed---primarily aimed at horses, dogs, cats, rabbits, and chickens. They have a good selection of hardware . You can get inexpensive lawn tractors, brush cutters, blades, post hole diggers, fencing, feeders, waterers and water tanks. Thbat sort of thing. They do not have CTs extensive used parts selection in any way shape or form. I hope this helps. TSC is a good source for what items they sell, but they are not as "ag" oriented as you might like. I suggest that you acquire and keep a "Valuebilt" catalog. That is the latest name for CT, and their mail order parts business is not closing. I personally LIKE my TSC store and do business there frequently. Yours might be different, but you'll have to wait and see. Also, I would be real happy if ANYONE came in and took over the carcass of MY local CT Farm & Country. We have a TSC already, so I don't suppose ther's much hope for anyone else.
