Earlier this year I lost my grandfather, and due to the family having other ideas for his place, I also lost a good portion of my corn ground. So I decided to break up a portion of my bottom ground that had been pastured for at least 40 years. I ripped it yesterday, and broke it today. The clutch dog spring on the old #52 plow broke 2 rounds in but luckily I had a spring in the parts box. Managed to finish the field in 3 hours and then disk it in half that. The Cub was no match for the fresh sod and had to use the 300 and 10' disk instead.
