Heading to work this afternoon and stopped at the gas station is an industrial truck with a trailer full of scrap. Well I got turned around a mile down the road and came back for a photo of this poor old Chalmers. Snapped a couple of photos and noticed something poking out from under the smashed hood. An FM MAG!!! Parked the truck, grabbed a couple of tools and the guy was coming out of the snack shop. Asked if I could grab a part and he says"you can have the whole thing for $100.oo." I tell him I have no place to put it. Five minutes latter it is in the back of my truck. I stuck a 5 under his wiper blade. It is not stuck but I am guessing it would be a good idea to get it rebuilt. Everything looks original.
