I bought a used 2014 Frontier a year ago for 16k, with 90k miles on it. It was at least 2k less than a Tacoma. It has the back seat with the rear suicide doors.
It has the 6 bed which I needed. The v6 engine has plenty of power.
I couldn t find a nicer truck for the money. The cabs all have some road noise from the back of the cab.....a known complaint on Frontiers. And it does not turn very short, so you can t always pull into a parking spot with one try.
Older Tacomas have a frame rust problem....not sure what years. But the frames rot from the inside out. Our toyota dealer has pallets full of new frames on hand, if you need one replaced!
