It was the same here, snowed horizontally last night. Solid 2" here this morning, had to clean off the truck before heading out this morning.
Was high 20's last night. This poor guy fledged too early, his brother is still in the nest in my shed, his folks are right close, he's good. I've got this guy set up with a decent roost,he's eating well and very agile. This weather would have done him in. I even cut some more wood to get a fire going in the stove for him, toasty warm where he is. He'll go in a nearby pine soon for cover, his folks will find him right away. These are pretty easy to help, done it for years, often times they'll stick around and pay you a visit.

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
