Rick i learned a long time ago that any TRAILER tire as they call them are pretty much junk. For what you tryen to do you need a 14 Ply tire . I run a 12 ply on my 18000 # Goose neck , it came with 8 plys , yea that worked well. Back in the Hay days of coal bucketing we hauled extremely heavy and ran really fast and the brand new East Dump that i bought did not make the first day with the GOODYEAR trailer tires as i blew one on the first load , Next day another one blew and the next two let go . That is when they all came off and i stepped up to second line steering tires and ended my tire problems even loading as much as 60000lbs on two axles . Now that i am down to LITTLE trucks and trailers i have been having really good luck with Master Craft tires as i was having problems with the GOOD FOR A YEAR. I ran Good Years for many years up till like 2007 when i needed tires on the War Dept's Durango , it came with Good Years from the factory and we got just under 90000 miles on them So i put what I THOUGHT was the same tire back on and in less then a year we were having belt separation one tire after the other and we were replacing four tires a year . The guy i get tires off of told me that i needed to switch and he put the Master Crafts on then i put Master Crafts on the truck then the trailer . when i do haul my old ways will never change as i still load the wagon and haul a lot more then i should but tire problems don't affect me .

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
