I bought my last goodyear tire two decades ago. They never lasted long enough to wear one out. Just my luck with them.
Me and a couple of guys I know who haul a whole lot more and more frequently than I do have switched to running LT radial tires. I take the old ones from my one ton and they go on the trailer.
Now I've noticed there is a place selling 19.5 wheels that have the older size eight lug pattern found on most heavier axles. Now you can upgrade to 19.5's and buy real commercial tires.
