Hi ex Neighbor, when I worked at a huge Naval Industrial plant (NSWC Crane) the utility charged us HUGE fees for our lousy Power Factor caused by our having so many big motor loads but our adding of Power Factor Correction Capacitors really helped. I have no idea how you are being billed but it may not make any difference whatsoever if you were to add the same. IE while they may improve the Power Factor you may not save a penny on the electric bill??
