I guess I bought another mans problems- thats ok Ill get it with your help! lol...Previous owner put on a 12v alternator...- tractor has an "amp" gauge on dash and showed "0" when running also battery showed 12.4v running; so I changed the alternator- same thing now. 62a Delco Alt- has that 2-wire plug on top and someone put a single jumper from outside post(of 2 wire plug) to hot post on back of alternator...is this right? When I use my Volt Meter on alternator (when running) it show it is not charging...what a mess. Any ideas? also volt meter jumps all over the place when hooked to battery and running... Thanks!
