That works out great for you guys, and preserves these tractors a heck of a lot better then they were likely to get. As much as one can appreciate a meticulous restoration with all that is involved, you're taking good care of these tractors and preserving, even improving their condition. That keeps them from going to scrap and they get new work assignments ! If someone wants to take things further, at least they have a good starting point. In regards to the show and tell aspect of this, while the paint might not be say professionally applied or what have you, even brush applied with some attention to the care of the application, makes them look pretty darned nice for photos and if on one of your jobs. Your customers, the public, sees that you maintain your equipment, which shows pride in what you do, this builds confidence in your customers. Sounds like you are having a great time with all of this, been fun to see all of it and the start up of the haying you are doing. It's also a great influence to others, and a nice contribution to this site !
