Grandson's NH T6030 has a Bosch VE injector pump, looks to be the same as the on used on a 5.9 Cummins, tractor starts and runs normal but the injector pump will take spells of making a chattering noise which doesn't affect the way it runs, in an attempt to find the problem the fuel filter and leaking lift pump were replaced and the fuel supply line to the tank checked for leaks. After doing that it ran for several days doing loader work without making the noise, but during the first day discing it done it again, I tried to locate a continuous air bleed off orfice for the fuel system thinking it could be a small amount of air getting sent to the injector pump causing the noise but not air locking the injector pump. Is there an orfice in this system as I can't find it in the 4400 page NH service manual nore did the 2 service technicians not mechanics seem to have a clue as to where it would be if it had one? I my be barking up the wrong tree in search of the problem but it was strange that the problem quit after the last repairs only to last a couple days.
