cows are tuff, they handle the cold better than me. just takes more work in the cold making sure things are ok. i have a few cows and they are at the far end of the farm 1/2 mile away. i need to keep the water trough filled and keep the fire going in the wood heater i have in it. and have to keep the road open with the tractor, which is todays job.as that dam wind blew it all in again since i cleared it few days ago. kind of gets discouraging . walking to day is easier than risking getting stuck, lol. it has been in the -20's and -40's f here this month one more day of cold weather then going to be in the + 20 +30 range for a bit. central alberta.
