Neighboring farmer called me and requested some help on getting the carburetor back on a Hart Par 18-28. He had the carburetor rebuilt over the winter and couldn't figure out how the throttle/governor linkage all went back on. He didn't take any pictures or make any drawings when he took it off. Looking at the attached picture one would believe the little green lever laying against the engine block goes under the brass lever on the carburetor. Makes sense that when you move the throttle to the right the green lever raises and lifts the brass lever opening the throttle plate. The problem is the little brass lever has a groove worn in the top of it like the green lever was pushing down on the brass lever. Looks as if the governor is on the righthand side of the tractor and the linkage actually comes through the engine block. I think I have the governor contact points figured out, but any information there would help as well. Pictures, a drawing, or comments would help. Appreciate it. Thanks.
