This week I've been rethinking living out in the country. I live a mile and a half from a town of seven hundred with the school, gas station and fire station, also live ten miles from a town of twenty five thousand with the big box stores so things are pretty handy.
Tuesday morning I found one of my walk in garage doors had rusty bar marks around the latch, screwing up the door and wood around it but they didn't get in and the cops laughed and said they recognized the bungled handy work.
They said it's a way out guy/kid from Milwaukee that wandered into the area recently and first broke in to a winery about six mile west of me, they got him on Cameras, didn't take anything and must be out on bail and has been working his way down the road towards me, screwing up doors but not getting in.
This is the second break in attempt for me, first time they broke in while we were on vacation, The odd thing is I got a daughter that lives in Chicago and a son in the N.W. burbs that I've worried about as long as they've been there and they don't seem to have any problems.
