I fail to see what the companies profits are loses have to do with what a line worker gets paid. In fact I have never seen a union say profits are down go ahead and give us a pay cut.
Wages for employees are easy to figure. It is what I can replace you for. Nothing more nothing less.
While I know there are laws against it; Deere ought to hire new people willing to work for the current pay and tell the strikers to pound dirt.
