Bought an '02 Silverado, 4x4 4.3l with 200,000 km (120,000 mi.) and when the tranny started acting up a few months later, a mechanic told me that series of trucks were bad to have the tranny let go at about that mileage, and it did. A $2700 rebuild later, the truck is still going five years later. To say I was annoyed at the time would be to say the least......
