Destroked, I appreciate your thoughts and experience. I don't mean to argue, but where I see it differently, and I am assuming, is that your wheels came without long rust stains or pitted edges when you received them. While they were in Your possession they began to rust. Again, I am assuming here, that you received these in much better condition. It seems like most understand NEW to be without blemish or damage. The sellers readily admits he stored the wheels outside, rolled them around on the street and gravel.
And as for return shipping, this was never discussed as a condition of the sale until AFTER he had received payment. I asked twice for an invoice, and when I finally received it, at the bottom they dictated conditions ... restocking fees and no refund for shipping. I don't agree with one person making all the rules after the sale. This is not directed at you, but I take great issue paying $500 for shipping and return shipping when the condition of these wheels were not accurate. Sure, if this was buyer's remorse, I should bear all the cost. He did not properly store these wheels, mishandled them, charged full retail and said nothing about their diminished and damaged condition. I find this highly Deceptive! And his response, Send 'em back or buy a can of paint, I don't see why it is my responsibility to pay full retail AND bring these up to full retail condition, or pay $500 and have nothing to show for it.
If the cost of these were highly discounted and I received them in this condition, well, that is to be expected. But I paid $15 more than another manufacturer because he said they were painted Silver Mist on BOTH side. They were not. When I brought this up he said, Well, there are different colors of silver. Maybe they painted them a different color of silver io the tube side. IT'S PRIMER! Sorry, I didn't mean this to be a complaining session. I really did want to hear others' thoughts and experiences.

Today's Featured Article - 12-Volt Conversions for 4-Cylinder Ford 2000 & 4000 Tractors - by Tommy Duvall. After two summers of having to park my old 1964 model 4000 gas 4 cyl. on a hill just in case the 6 volt system, for whatever reason, would not crank her, I decided to try the 12 volt conversion. After some research of convert or not, I decided to go ahead, the main reason being that this tractor was a working tractor, not a show tractor (yet). I did keep everything I replaced for the day I do want to restore her to showroom condition.
