Im an electrical apprentice and my boss is a voluntary fireman. He said on a call they were at the triplex snapped off a house and was dancing around in the yard on the utility side. He had all hes gear still on and slowly walked along stepping on the triplex and flattened the break out enough with his boots before getting too close to it that it separated enough to stop arcing. He picked it up and another fireman apparently said to him what are you going to do now your so smart? He said this! He shorted the hots out causing the fuse to blow at the transformer. Keep in mind it was dark would be quite a flash
