The sellers GP John Deere which wasnt on the sale bill...My Pontiac is sitting by a tree in the background...It got 1100 miles put on it this past week exploring-etc. Someone came to the sale in their nice Mach I Mustang.. More horse machinery..Too much stuff to keep track of..
This homemade trailer sold for $675...There were many more trailers there that all needed tires and some work.
Garden tractor on the right $160 and on the left $40...There was much more than this on the sale...
Going home I stopped at the Little House On The Prairie Museum just east of Wayside,KS...The Ingalls family lived on this very piece of property for a couple of years around 1869-70...Of course none of these buildings are original to the property but are original to the area...The Sunny Side school was moved from 4 miles to the northwest..Lots of people were there visiting.
The District #60 pentagon shaped rock school near Cherryvale,KS..I took old school and church pictures both coming and going to the sale.
The Spring Hill one room school north of Coffeyville,KS...It was later a church.. The District #65 one room school near Mound Valley,KS..Its getting a pretty good crack in it. The now unused Chouteau Chapel near Sycamore,KS..

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
