That serial number shows to be for a 1950 TO20. The only place the number would have been displayed would be on the dash plate. The plate was attached with simple screws, often lost or interchanged during rebuilds and part swapping. There was no serial number on the engine. There are date codes on the major castings, but they are usually a year in storage before assembly.
There are differences to look for, if this is a TO series.
A TO20 has a flat dash.
A TO30 has the air intake through the dash.
A TO 35 has a hi-low transmission.
