OK everyone is suggesting I have someone come out and do it. Probably great advice but that still does not leave me an oportunity to blast and paint the rim. I am afraid a rinsing will not remove all the CaCl that is eating the rim and it will continue to rot. How does this sound? 1)Remove all the CaCl I can 2)take the rim and tire off 3)bring it to the shop, have them take the tire off 4)get the rim blasted and painted 5)bring it all back to the shop have the tire mounted 6) remount on the tractor I still wonder how hard it would be to remount the tire on a freshly painted rim. Sounds like it should still be left to the pro's. The cheapest shop around quoted $25/tire for dismount I assume they would want $25 to remount it.Note it would cost me $250 to have someone come out and do both tubes. It's a bad combination of location and no local shops do Ag tires. Thanks Tom
