In Iowa when you take a tractor rear to the shop, they back up their mobile service truck because only it has the right tools, like the CaCl pump and the big tire debeader and big tire irons. They will not be happy to work with the rim loose instead of on the tractor where its easy to spin and to get at both sides. You won't like tossing 250 pounds about either. And thats with the CaCl gone. As for remounting the old tire, an OLD tractor tire has the flexibility of cured concrete. Takes powerful tools to mount. A very rusted rim may not survive sandblasting to have steel to paint. It may need patching or replacing. Gerald
