Technically, the Golden Jubilee was only built as a '53 model. The later models were identified as NAA although they were nearly identical (about the only change I know of was the emblem on the front end). The 601 is a newer model. I wouldn't complain about spending $1500 on a 601 though -- it seems a good price to me (assuming the head gasket is the only real problem). You might also have a hybrid -- some parts from a 601, some from a NAA or Jubilee.
