The friend of a friend just bought this at an auction. He grew up on one and would like to restore it. From a bit of searching I see they aren't too common. It looks pretty complete and nothing looks complicated at all. We're wondering about the transmission tho. It looks like it has sort of a a transaxle in it. Auction bill said transmission has issues. I don't know what that might be. Looks like it has the Hercules in it which turns over. Are there any Leader Gurus here that could give the owner a leg up on this tractor before he gets started?
