I ordered a new farm truck on July 9th 2021. was told it should be in maybe as early as December of 21. Received a phone call 2 days before thanksgiving telling me I would have to re-order in a 22 model as 21's were being cancelled at the end of the year. So I reordered Black Friday of last year. Price went up a little around $15 - $1600. Not too bad. Got a call Monday... My truck was in! Went to look at it & test drive it. It was good. Then came the price An $8,000 dollar increase!!! I asked to see my order, & they never showed it to me. So I told them there was probably less than a 25% chance I would take delivery. Then they started screaming at me. I told them with the increase, & much higher interest rates the payment just was not worth it, & I WAS TOLD THE PAYMENT WOULD BE LOCKED IN ON BLACK FRIDAY! By the way the original salesperson retired one month ago. So He was not around to confirm it! They flat out told me they knew the salesperson, & He would have never ever said such a thing! I went back today told them The original price is final price or I walk out. Well... I walked out! I told them if I placed an order today them the $8000 difference would be unavoidable. But me waiting 15 1/3 months IS NOT MY FAULT. I will order another one; but next one will be signed dated & stamped no price increase, or no deal. Heard on 750 a.m. out of Chicago last night that housing prices fell for the 8th week in a row. No shock to me!
Your thoughts anyone! Did I do them a favor, or me a favor?

My model "H" even had the old style fronts with plenty of tread. My "L" fronts were mismatched Sears Guardsman snow tires, which I promptly tossed. Well, although these tires were in good shape as far as tread was concerned, they looked real sad. All were flat, but new tubes fixed that. In addition to years and years of scuffing and fading, they had paint splattered on
