It will cost a lot to restore. It will cost a lot to get back into working status. Nothing is worse than running the track off one of thse things for instance if the under carriage is badly worn. It is worth more than a thousand as scrap. If the present owner wants to see it go to a good home you might get it for the thousand. They are wonderful old machines that,so far, I've resisted the temptation to purchase. but I've always wanted one.
