The one about the VETTE--The story goes a kid got drafted and was sent to Viet Nam--was killed in action. but before he left he put his 58 fuelie Corvette in storage in the barn. Shortly afterwards the Dad died and the Mom wanted to move to town so she called The old guy down the road to help her clean the stuff up. Almost every letter she got when her Son was alive would mention the Vette so She took him out to the barn to show it to the old guy down the road--She said I looked up Chevettes in the paper and they aren't worth much $1000 tops--but this one only has seating for two so would you give me $750--the old guy down the road said--No but I'll give you $500--And the old guy down the road lived happily ever after!!!!!!!!!!---Tee Chevette The old guy down the road came at night to pick the Vette up and he asked the Mom not to tell anybody!!
