About 2 months back I had a lot of good input on this but I decided to go with the one owner 686 with the d312 engine. This tractor was bought at a dealer 3 miles from my house and has never left the original owners farm about a mile from where I Iive. I have every receipt and even the mail in rebate from international harvester when bought new. Also came with factory duals. The suitcase weights were stolen years back unfortunately. I even have the receipt for the year round cab. The gentleman bought this tractor new when he turned 18 in 1978 I really felt like the torch was being passed to me on this one. I also have the fenders for the tractor and plan on removing the cab. Even the pto and alternator shield are still attached, I understand most tractors have lost those over the years. I figured for those who took the time to give their input deserved to know which tractor made the cut.
