left home in the newest kenworth. loaded with corn..left early plannig on truck switch n drop another load. anyhow about a year ago replaced the braided stainless steel water lines and the turbo to oil cooler hose ,molded blue rubber. was about to a small village n seen mist flying.then red lites yellow lites n the air dinger went off.temp was at 185 so flipped fan on n dropped a gear. small convenience store has a big lot made it there safely off road. temp never exceeded 195 so im ok. no parts store for miles. called boss n he was away.set 3.5 hours but he got hose,water and anti freeze. nice bit wasnt hot nor cold n no wind. this hose is an odd molded rascal too.smartphone took pictures as well as vin number n yaay kw had the hose. took about 30 minutes to change n get er filled with coolant. burns me that we replace questionable parts to avoid setting broke down n that part breaks anyhow.
