While I was driving part time for a small excavation company one of the owners called on a day when I was off, to see if I could go on an emergency road service for them. One of their Macks was on the interstate and had gotten a big hole in a big coolant hose and had dumped a lot very quickly. I grabbed a couple gallons Of antifreeze and a couple gallons of water and headed out. It was less than 10 miles to the truck and another three to the Mack dealer. The hose was silicone and came off easily. I got the driver going within an hour and a half. This was a lot better than another day when I hauled just one load and worked the rest of the day on the cooling system of that same five year old tuck. My buddies who own the company were pretty happy.
