My tractor has truck tires on the front. They have been fine, but one just blew a 3 crack in the sidewall and went flat fast.
I use the tractor for haying, ploughing, discing, skidding logs in snow on hilly ground, general loader work, and plowing snow.
The snowplow is an 8 foot fixed blade which does not angle.
I need to decide whether to get new truck tires or to get normal ribbed tractor tires.
I think the truck tires have been better than ag tires would be for the work in snow. They fill with dirt when working the market garden, but it doesn't seem a problem.
I am not sure whether truck or ag tires have tougher sidewalls.
