Ford tractors were rated at 1500 and 2400 RPM. The 100 HP v8 would put out 41 and 62 hp.
540 pto is achieved at 1500 engine rpm, thus the use of the underdrive add on transmission
would provide 540 pto at full speed, 2400.
A v8 with underdrive would give 62(conservative) pto hp, but the v8 would also
destroy the 8n in a short time.
