If no fuel pump, and an updraft carburetor, how is fuel going to get to the crankcase other than when running with an excessively rich mixture? No fuel is going to get to the crankcase through the cylinders rising up to the manifold! There will always be a little fuel get to the crankcase from choking to start, but unless there's no thermostat to make the engine warm up the gasoline should be boiled out of the oil by normal operation. Could there be a helpful kid "fueling" in the oil filler hole he/she can reach? Gerald
