I suggest gathering information of the type you want to restore.remember there is a difference between repair vs. restore.the level at which you take this depends on many factors.I have had good luck developing a relationship with a professional restorer.this entails finding out how each can benefit from the other.try not to scarfice dollars on tools if possible.there are some you can scrimp on.I have found that craftsman
serves me well.Attends auction,flea markets,get your name on mailing lists for tractor related items.you'd be amazed at the stuff gotten fro free
to swap with others and the i n f o r m a t i o n
