As always, it depends. Is it gas or diesel? How is the rubber? How does it look? How long has it been sitting on the lot? Hydros tend to be lower priced because of the unknown condition in the Hydro. Big bucks if it has to be overhauled. Your right, not a good tractor for heavy pulling, but excellent tractor for pto work or loader. I got a 656 gas, standard transmission, good TA for $3850, as is. Needs generator or voltage regulator repair. I have seen them advertised for twice that. There is locally, one just like you described, new paint, looks great, but big price. Check around in the local ads to get a feel.
