I think for the money a JD 4010 can get the job done aout as good as a 4020. I went to the JD house & got a '61 4010 for $3000. They had a 4020 with new paint for $10,500. It was a '65 model, and it was diesel, instead of propane like mine. The 4010 will pull just about anything you want it to. I farm only 5 acres now, but I have a 14' disk, and it pulls it as deep and as fast as I want to go.
