If the PTO disc is stuck to the pressure plates, the test is invalid. Make sure you can turn the PTO shaft independent of the engine with PTO engaged & clutch pedal fully disengaged to make sure clutch is free. Check the main clutch disc the same way with a wheel jacked up, transmission in gear, clutch fully disengaged. Generally, two stage clutches of this era have a long range of "active travel" as compared to single stage in the same model. Good Luck
